The Red Waste

The Great Waste is divided almost right down the middle by the Serpent's Spine Mountains. To the west of the range you'll find the White Waste where the biggest dangers you might face are the heat, bandits, and mirages probably n that order. Far to the east though, on the opposite side of those razor sharp peaks lies the Red Waste and it's as different in character from the west as it is in color. In the red you're just as likely to die of frostbite as you are from the heat, and bandits and mirages are almost non existent there. What you really want to watch out for is getting lost in the labyrinthine slot canyons that make up most of the area..and the monstrous packs of magic mutated hounds that like to roam them at night...
